Verifying your account on WSOP Online is a two-step process. We will need to verify your identity and your location.
When you register a real money account with WSOP Online, we will attempt to verify your identity in real time using the information that you provided on your registration form. If for any reason we are unable to verify your identity, we will create a 'Temporary Account' for you and request that you send us a copy of your government issued photo ID and a recent utility bill for address confirmation.
You can verify your identity now by securely uploading your personal documents within the 'Cashier'. Just click the 'Verify ID' tab, then upload a file containing an electronic copy of your photo ID and utility bill from your computer (a scan or a digital picture) and send it to us for review. File must be no more than 4mb in size in the following formats: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, GIF, BMP, PDF, JPG, TIF.
A member of our customer support team will personally review your document and verify your account. This may take up to 72 hours.
Once the process is complete we will send you an email to let you know if your account has been approved and you are ready for real money play. If we are unable to verify your account, we will send you an email to let you know the reason.
The State of Nevada requires that only players located within state lines can play for real money.
that allowsGeocomply is the software plug-in s to verify your location. It is already included with the poker software and a separate download is not necessary. In order for this plug-in to work correctly, please check that your Wi-Fi is turned on. While you do not need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network to verify your location, your Wi-Fi capability needs to be turned on. We cannot verify your location if your Wi-Fi is turned off. If you do not have Wi-Fi included in your computer's hardware, you can use a USB Wi-Fi adapter to identify your location.
